Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Develop AI Solutions
   • Develop and maintain machine learning models, from concept to deployment.
   • Work with large datasets to build predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP) models, or computer vision solutions, depending on project needs.
2. Collaborate & Innovate
   • Partner closely with our CTO, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
   • Contribute to architectural and strategic decisions involving AI initiatives across the company.
3. Optimize & Scale
   • Integrate AI solutions into existing products and pipelines, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
   • Monitor and refine models using real-world feedback, iterative experimentation, and rigorous testing.
4. Research & Continuous Improvement
   • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI and machine learning trends, tools, and frameworks.
   • Drive best practices in data engineering, model deployment, and model lifecycle management.
5. Code Quality & Best Practices
   • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
   • Perform code reviews, implement test-driven development (TDD) strategies, and champion coding standards.

Qualifications:

1. Experience:
   • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development, data science, or a similar role.
   • Proven track record of building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
   • Minimum 5+ years of background as a developer
2. Education:
   • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
   • Exceptional skill and demonstrated success can outweigh formal education.
3. Technical Skills:
   • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R, with experience in libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
   • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
   • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
   • Familiarity with data engineering and ETL processes for large-scale data is beneficial.
4. Soft Skills:
   • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
   • Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapidly changing requirements.
5. Languages:
   • Fluent in Norwegian is preferred.
   • Strong English communication skills; international candidates are welcome.
